About Lance McKerley
Lance McKerley is a Nashville-based independent communications consultant with offices in the Franklin/Cool Springs area.
Lance has more than 12 years of daily newspaper experience in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia. As an award-winning reporter, editor and featured columnist, he covered a multitude of subjects including education, health care, the music industry, the legal system and college and professional sports. For more than six years he directed the communications, media relations and PR efforts of one of Tennessee's most active and visible trade associations, serving as statewide spokesman for the long-term care industry. Lance is experienced in Web site development, social media platforms and publication management. He has a strong track record of success in the budgeting, design and execution of PR and marketing campaigns.

Lance is past president of the Society of Long Term Care Communicators and a member of the Public Relations Society of America. An active supporter and coach of youth sports, he was president of the Tennessee's largest recreational sports league, the Williamson County Soccer Association, from 2007-2009. Lance holds a degree in journalism from the University of Alabama.
